Things to Consider When Buying Draperies
There are so many choices in draperies that when it comes time to buy them, it can become overwhelming. But consider just a few things, and you’ll quickly find the perfect draperies for that window covering

• Consider the size and shape of the window. A drapery that doesn’t cover a window will not look good, no matter how beautiful the fabric is.
• Does the texture of the drapery match the fabrics in the room.
• Remember that draperies should blend in color with the décor of the room. Don’t use rich or bold colors with modern décor; and never, ever buy cutesy patterns like rosettes.
• When choosing a color, make sure to choose one that blends in nicely with the carpet, furniture, and wall color so that the draperies can pull the room together.
